1. About these terms

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the colour.team platform at colour.team, operated by colour.team ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

colour.team provides an online self-assessment tool based on the four colour energies model. The service includes:

• A free taster assessment (4 questions, no account required)
• A full assessment (20 questions, requires a paid credit)
• A profile dashboard to view and share your results
• Team features for group assessments

The assessment is designed as a practical self-reflection tool and is not a clinical, diagnostic, or psychological instrument. Results should not be used as the sole basis for employment, performance management, or any consequential decisions about individuals.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide an accurate email address. We may use it to send important service notifications.
• You may not create accounts for other people without their knowledge, or use the service to process assessments for individuals who have not consented.

4. Credits and payments

• Each full assessment requires one credit. Credits are purchased in advance via Stripe.
• Credits are non-refundable once used to start an assessment.
• Unused credits do not expire.
• If a technical error prevents your assessment from completing, contact us at [email protected] and we will restore the credit.
• All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

5. Refunds

We offer refunds on unused credits within 14 days of purchase, in line with UK consumer regulations for digital content. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and order details. Refunds are not available once credits have been used.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from the platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the results to discriminate against individuals in employment or other contexts
• Misrepresent the scientific validity of the assessment beyond what is stated here

7. Intellectual property

All content on the platform — including question text, result descriptions, blend profiles, and design — is owned by colour.team and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without written permission.

Your assessment results belong to you. You may share your personal profile as you see fit.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Unused credits will be refunded on termination by us without cause.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the service. Continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
